It is a slideshow screensaver that kicks in when your computer goes idle and displays, as free-slideshow.com explained, “amazing landscapes and natural views of the lakes, mountains, rocks, sunsets, coasts and waterfalls.”

As mentioned above, Peaceful Nature Screensaver is a slideshow screensaver. This means it will transition through several images. By default it displays an image for 3 seconds (you can change this amount of time from the Settings menu), then uses a transition effect to move to another image (you can select which transition effect you want the screensaver to use and you can adjust the speed of the transition effect).

Here are a few other settings you can play with in the Settings menu. You can also choose if you want the screensaver to “Cycle through all effects”, you can select the background color, and you can enable the “Put wallpaper on desktop” option (one of the screensaver’s images will be turned into your wallpaper).
